LYRICS || EVERYTIME YOU'RE COMING MY WAY I'M FEELING SO GREAT Everytime you’re coming my way I’m feeling so Great, feeling so great Everytime you’re coming my way I’m feeling so Great, feeling so great And if you think I’m h’ugly, then, Come on and hug me, babe I’m driving an awkward stage Yes if you think I’m h’ugly, then, Come on and hug me, babe Don’t wear such a serious face Everytime you’re coming my way I’m feeling so Great, feeling so great Everytime you’re coming my way I’m feeling so Great, feeling so great And if you think I’m h’ugly, then, Come on and hug me, babe I’m driving an awkward stage Yes if you think I’m h’ugly, then, Come on and hug me, babe Don’t wear such a serious face And don’t you think it is the time we dance ‘till the lights are over? And don’t you think it is the time we dance ‘till it knocks us over? And don’t you think it would be nice to run naked in the sand? Putting everything away No mess and order And don’t you think it would be nice to dance ‘till the lights are over? And don’t you think it would be nice to dance ‘till it knocks us over? And don’t you think it could be fun to run naked in the sand? Putting everything away No mess and order No mess and order Everytime you’re coming my way I’m feeling so G-r-e-a-t Everytime you’re coming my way I’m feeling so Great, feeling so great Everytime you’re coming my way I’m feeling so Great, feeling so great And if you think I’m h’ugly, then, Come on and hug me, babe I’m driving an awkward stage Yes if you think I’m h’ugly, then, Come on and hug me, babe Don’t wear such a serious face Yes if you think I’m h’ugly, then, Come on and hug me, babe I’m driving an awkward stage, oh I’m driving an awkward stage, oh

Justice is just ice When something fluid turns hard Justice is just ice When something cohesive breaks apart Justice is just ice When the summer gives a snowish tan Justice isn’t nice Not always, not to everyone Shame, justice isn’t ice When it’s too hot And you're boiling inside And I say And just ice for all! Ah-ah-ah-ah ah Justice is just ice When something cognitive falls apart Justice is just ice When something clear becomes too bright Justice is just dice As it never really been squarely sliced Justice isn’t nice Can’t explain and lose your pride Shame, justice isn’t ice When it’s too hot And you're boiling inside And I say And just ice for all! Ah-ah-ah-ah ah Justice is just ice When something fluid turns hard Justice is just ice When something cohesive breaks apart Justice is just dice And we never win a lottery prize Justice isn’t nice Well, as a joke it’s alright Shame, justice isn’t ice When it’s too hot And you're boiling inside And I say And just ice for all! Ah-ah-ah-ah ah

LYRICS || ANYWAY YOU LOOK AT IT (3 = I LOVE YOU) Don’t want to think Just fall asleep Wake up and see you I don’t want to think Just fall asleep Wake up and kiss you Looks like it came out of the blue But anyway you look at it I love you Don’t want to think Just fall asleep Wake up and see you I don’t want to think Just fall asleep Wake up and kiss you Looks like it came out of the blue But anyway you look at it I love you And Love makes us do things That our apparent logic and knowledge Don't understand Well, can't explain Love makes us do things That our apparent logic and knowledge Don't understand Well, can't explain 'Cause don’t want to think Just fall asleep Wake up and see you I don’t want to think Just fall asleep Wake up and kiss you Looks like it came out of the blue But anyway you look at it I love you I love you I love you

LYRICS || ARE YOU ALRIGHT? Are you alright? I swear I could hear the sighs of you Are you alright? I swear I could hear some cracks in you Can’t fall asleep tonight Don’t try if you think a lot Can’t fall asleep tonight Don’t try, it’s just getting hot Let’s stay awake tonight It’s easy for people to patronise When they take part but don’t get involved Somehow manage to miss the point That it’s their privilege and not a favour at all Now you know your instinct follows Those decisions that were hard to swallow What was the point in trying to save some time? If all along you knew it’s not the one Are you alright? I swear I could hear the sighs of you Are you alright? I swear I could hear some cracks in you Can’t fall asleep tonight Don’t try if you think a lot Can’t fall asleep tonight Don’t try, it’s just getting hot Let’s stay awake tonight Some like to be licking for money Then with their tongues dividing the notes No big deal no challenge either When you just do it with whatever comes first It’s an easy choice to go down shallow Climbing up will then naturally follow Users bragging on the radio When drugs in bands is a boring cliche, you know Are you alright? I swear I could hear the sighs of you Are you alright? I swear I could hear some cracks in you Let’s stay awake all night

about

This is the 11th album in the 12-album diary-like series of ‘Alien Alright’. It comes with a bonus album for anyone who downloads it (see more info below). I hope you enjoy listening to it, and thanks for visiting this page!

THE STORY BEHIND THE ALBUM:

When I came to London, age 23, to promote some music I made, I had no intentions to stay for long. But I then met my future wife, a local Jewish girl, and as the years passed, my status as a temporary resident was becoming less and less evident...

My Jewish and Israeli identity were very important for me, but for the average British person, what defined me was that I’m clearly not a local. I was a stranger. And as such, I needed to work ten times harder to maintain my identity and heritage.

I saw some Jews several generations in London losing it, I saw some Israelis 20-30 years in London that were in the process of losing it (and telling me that they too thought they’d be back to Israel and the same is going to happen to me), I met quite a few non-Jews who told me that one of their grandparents is/was Jewish, and I didn’t want any of this to happen to me.

This album pieces it all together. The songs here were all recorded in different times, as part of different projects, but somehow ended up here, bound under one roof. Some of them were regarded as could-be potential singles, but never got to the next stage of being fully produced; others were overlooked and left aside until now. They all play a role in the journey back home.

If you want to read more about some of the songs on the album (tracks 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 8), click on the title of each one of them.

Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy the music!

about

ALiEN ALRiGHT Modi'In Makabim Re'Ut, Israel

Landing in the UK for an unexpected stay of 7 years, 'Alien Alright' is like an 'outsider's indie-rock diary' of music recorded during that time.

It's organized by order and consists of 14 albums - all 100% DIY, home-made.

Some of the albums are more properly produced, some are recorded with just vocals over an acoustic guitar, and 2 are improvised live.

You’re welcome to explore and enjoy :)
