I’VE SEEN THE SHADOWS || LYRICS I’ve seen the shadows running from the wall to the floor Yes, they’re coming, wait for me, I’m looking for the door Inviting us to come, inviting us to stay, obscuring the way out Loving us to come, loving us to stay, they’re blocking our way Feet scoffing, eyes forging Drifting away and nothing to say Ears conning, thighs folding Fading away - it was nice to be valiant And tonight, We’re driving off the past out into delight We’re living like we don’t plan to come back We’re living like it’s ours and it is, in a way
2.
COUNT ON ME || LYRICS You think of yourself that no one loves you You think of yourself that no one counts you So, don’t forget girl, Don’t forget girl, you can always count on me You think of yourself that no one trusts you You think of yourself that no one likes you But don’t forget girl, Don’t forget girl, you can always count on me Count on me, Hundred times and every time you can Count on me Even if I’m miles and miles and hours away And there’s no better day for you now You think of yourself that no one adores you You think of yourself that no one praise you But don’t forget girl, Don’t forget girl, you can always count me in Count on me, Hundred times and every time you can Count on me Even if I’m miles and miles and hours away And there’s no better day for you now
3.
NEW BOY || LYRICS First time - can you imagine? I’m feeling so small First three days in the centre and I’ve never felt so far before First time - can you understand? I’m a patient guy But I’ve already burnt some bridges around unsmartly So maybe I’m just a good boy in the wrong profession And maybe I’m just the new boy getting his initiation ceremony

I don’t go to the cinema I go to sleep instead I see four, five, sometimes seven movies in one night And I’m involved as if I play the leading part Hollywood cannot remember When was the last time They lost to an independent company And me, I’m used to playing a role in a dream Now, look around See what a scene More and more people fall asleep While watching a film Now, look around See what a scene More and more people fall asleep While watching a film I don’t go to the cinema I go to sleep instead I see four, five, sometimes seven movies in one night And I’m involved as if I play the leading part Hollywood cannot remember When was the last time They lost so many regular spectators And me, what can I say, they've finally made it They are really giving people a reason to dream Now, look around See what a scene More and more people fall asleep While watching a film Now, look around See what a scene More and more people fall asleep While watching a film I don’t go to the cinema I go to sleep instead I see four, five, sometimes seven movies in one night And at least I’m involved, as if I play the leading part

LOUISE CAN ATTACK || LYRICS Louise can attack How much he wants But I’m not Louise And I can’t spit on the Blond And I can’t take it anymore Louise still attacks And I can hear him really well I want to be like Louise But I can’t spit on the redhead And I can’t stop this headache And everything is great Like everything is grey I’m looking for a road That is free from any roars If I could only sense a peril If I could only be more aware Stop acting like I don’t care Louise can attack How much he wants But I’m not Louise And I can’t spit on the Blond And I can’t take it anymore Now, Louise keeps attacking They are the champions of this year But I can’t be Louise And I can’t even win my self here I wish I could spit but I can’t I wish I could spit but I can’t I need to get a hold of myself And forget about everything else I need to get a hold of myself And forget about everything else If I could only sense a peril If I could only be more aware Stop acting like I don’t care And everything is great Like everything is grey I’m looking for a road That is free from any roars If I could only sense a peril If I could only be more aware Stop acting like I don’t care I need to get a hold of myself And forget about everything else I need to get a hold of myself And forget about everything else I need to get a hold of myself Forget about everything else

LOU IS LOSING LOUISE || LYRICS Lou is losing Louise, though he’s loving Louise, Love is losing Louise And now it’s the time to admit that this is not working at all Now, it’s the time to admit that this is tearing the blissful of us all And when he’s coming to me with dry tears on his cheeks There’s a bleeding in my soul

10.
THAT'S THE FASHION || LYRICS There’s always this new fashion There’s always this new sort of trance There’s always this new popular drug There’s always a motion in action From side to side New adjustments to make The perfect clothing, the finest hair style How can someone find his own corner in all that mass? Is it possible that fashions always change According to what all the people feel? When something new suits a huge crowd I prefer going outside Don’t need to take anything To be higher than this And above that is of course Higher than this Don’t you think it’s pretty amusing hiring some sheep? That’s the fashion There’s always this new fashion There’s always this new sort of trend There’s always this new temple And always a Guru to follow in There’s always the new perfect living There’s always this new set of rules There’s always this attending philosophy There’s always a motion in action From side to side New adjustments to make The fashionable truth, the finest belief Can’t you see how pathetic it looks And how hypocritical it makes us be? Do you really think it’s possible that a new fashion Always suits the mood of so many at once? When something new suits a huge crowd I choose going outside Don’t need to take anything To be higher than this And above that is of course Higher than this Don’t you think it’s pretty amusing hiring some sheep? That’s the fashion Don’t you think That’s the fashion Don’t you think it’s pretty And in fashion Don’t you think it’s pretty funny That’s the fashion Don’t you think it’s pretty funny that This is in fashion

SONG FOR MY FRIENDS (BACK HOME) || LYRICS The time has come my friends to say goodbye again I’m heading off to see if I can prove what I wanna be I’ll think of you Please think of me We’ll join our thoughts together and have a cup of tea The time my friends has come to say again goodbye Don’t worry I’ll stay the same, I cannot change what I really am I’ll think of you Please think of me We’ll join our thoughts together and have a cup of tea I’ll think of you Please think of me We’ll join our thoughts together and have a cup of tea

A MOMENT ON STAGE || LYRICS I’m a restless guy Impatient within Indifferent outside Impolite by hypocrite definition In amok on stage In early stage Throwing my garbage at the crowd One day you’ll be ready for this I’m a watcher I’m an observer And my garbage is real Yes, my garbage is real You'll come to my show But you won’t look at me, you’ll swap For a moment you’ll be on stage A watcher like me Real for the first time In so many years You’re not young But the time to be really free is always now It’s true I’m taking things too hard Increasing almost nothing to a lot And in public You should be the first laughing at yourself But in songs In favour of myself The same garbage might fill you too one day Exactly like this I’m a watcher I’m an observer And that garbage is real Yes, this garbage is real You'll come to my show But you won’t look at me, you’ll swap For a moment you’ll be on stage A watcher like me Real for the first time It's been so many years You’re not young But the time to be really free is running out You'll come to my show But you won’t look at me, you’ll swap For a moment you’ll be on stage A watcher like me Real for the first time It's been so many years You’re not young But the time to be really free is running out Really free is running out Really free is always now

about

First impressions from London.
Written and recorded in the first three months of living there.

The name of the album is taken from the song "New Boy", which was written straight after taking the tube to Oxford Street for the first time, coming out of Tottenham Ct Rd station, and exploring the area.

Around there you can find Denmark street, where the picture of the album cover was taken. It's a street that's most famous as Britain's "Tin Pan Alley" housing numerous music publishers' offices in the 50's, later replaced by music shops and recording studios.

Thanks for listening!
Enjoy... :)

about

ALiEN ALRiGHT Modi'In Makabim Re'Ut, Israel

Landing in the UK for an unexpected stay of 7 years, 'Alien Alright' is like an 'outsider's indie-rock diary' of music recorded during that time.

It's organized by order and consists of 14 albums - all 100% DIY, home-made.

Some of the albums are more properly produced, some are recorded with just vocals over an acoustic guitar, and 2 are improvised live.

You’re welcome to explore and enjoy :)
